Where to find us
At paradise on Earth. Long answer: at cala Canyelles, hidden between Lloret and Tossa, one of the most iconic beaches on the Costa Brava. In the words of Catalan writer Josep Pla: “a wonderful, long, wide beach, with a dazzling light”. Wanna join us?
How to get there
From Lloret, follow the GI-682 road (Avinguda Vila de Tossa) towards Tossa and turn right at the Canyelles exit (Carrer Portugal). Immediately, turn left towards Club Nàutic Cala Canyelles (Avinguda Canyelles) and go on for 1,200 m until you reach the port bollard. From here, only pedestrians and motorbikes are allowed. You’ll find us to your right, next to the sand.
Where to park?
All year round
Park at car park C (Font de Sant Llorenç): free. Our shuttle picks you up there. From 12 September to 22 June, areas A and B, right next to Gammarus, are free too.
Summer season
Park at car park D: free, supervised and exclusive for guests with a reservation. Our shuttle takes you to Gammarus.

Area B
Unpaved car park before the last roundabout. 150 m (2 minutes on foot) from Gammarus. Free all year round, except from 23 June to 11 September, when it is a paid Blue Zone.

“Font de Sant Llorenç” paved car park. 800 m (10 minutes on foot) from Gammarus, perfect for working up an appetite. If you’re feeling lazy, we have a daily shuttle from 11 a.m. to 7 p.m. (1 minute).

We are a team born and raised on the Costa Brava and united by a common cause: to offer you a unique experience, a fusion of restaurant and beach club, right on the seafront. Our style blends the simplicity of wabi-sabi aesthetics with a Mediterranean feel, creating a warm and laid-back atmosphere where the whisper of the waves replaces the ticking of the clock.

Gammarus is divided into three areas: the Restaurant with its large terrace, La Platgeta with a casual vibe, and the Rooftop, a private space with a pool, sunbeds and an exclusive bar. All of them are available for your private events.
El Restaurant
Both its dining room and its terrace are perfect for sharing lunch or dinner with family and friends around aged wood tables and beneath coir awnings.
We believe in honest local cuisine based on rice dishes, fish and seafood, but we also offer dishes to share and options for the little ones.
MenuWe use local ingredients and techniques, inspired by the fishermen who not so long ago hauled their nets onto this very beach.
Signature cocktails, vermouths and wines to make the afternoon by the sea last longer.
We are pet friendly, so four-legged friends are also welcome.
La Platgeta
Feet in the sand, surrounded by palm trees and an endless sea view. Not Bali, but La Platgeta at Gammarus. Make your choice of tapas and signature cocktails to the beat of live music. If Robinson Crusoe had been stranded here, he would have hidden at the sight of a rescue ship.
El Rooftop
Adults-only chill area (+18)
Price: €90 per bed (for 2 people)
Includes:
- Bed access from 11:30 a.m. to 7 p.m.
- Bed linen and towel service
- Private changing rooms with lockers and showers
- 2 welcome cocktails
- Full restaurant menu available
You’ll feel like you can reach the sky from the Rooftop at Gammarus, since its exceptional location offers the best views of cala Canyelles. In this private and exclusive area, your biggest concern will be deciding whether to drink your cocktail lying in the sun on a double sunbed or soaking in the heated pool.
You won’t have to worry about a thing: towels and changing rooms are at your disposal, along with bar and snack service (if you’d rather have a proper meal, don’t forget to book at the Restaurant).
Even the schedule here is laid-back: arrive between 11:30 a.m. and 2 p.m. and stay all day, until 7 p.m. We can’t reserve specific sunbeds, but we’ll do our best to meet your requests when you arrive.
This area is +18: what happens on the Rooftop, stays on the Rooftop. Families with children are more than welcome at the Restaurant and La Platgeta. Don’t fret – we’ll still be here when you find a babysitter.
